A living bag is not only a functional, original and beautiful sensory object but also an element of educational games for children and their caregivers. The inspiring Living bag’s, thanks to their abstract form, different colours and sizes, encourage to come up with new games. Children willingly push, pull and practice balance with their help. Adults are happy to support them in sitting and semi-reclining positions on the floor, because the beanbag adapts perfectly to the user’s body, providing comfort on hard ground.

Washing

Living bag consists of three layers of fabric: a buckwheat husk filling (inner bag) and double folded outer cover (outer bag). After a few weeks or a few months of using the beanbag, the outer cover should be washed, not only for hygienic reasons, but also to restore its proper elasticity.

To remove and wash the outer cover:
– Insert a finger into the hole and remove the ribbon tightening welt.
– Unfold the ribbon bow and loosen the outer cover welts
– Unfold the next ribbon from the second layer of the outer cover
– Remove the insert containing the filling (inner bag)
– Wash the outer cover at 40 degrees and then dry.

To put back the external cover on the insert:
– Place the insert formed in the longitudinal form (you can squeeze it with your legs)
– Put the insert into the cover using a rotary movement
– Pull and tie both ribbons on the bow, tightening the welts (it’s a good idea to carry out this activity using your thumb and forefinger).
– Insert the ribbon through the hole under the welt.

Refilling the beanbag with buckwheat:

1.Insert your finger into the hole and remove the ribbon tightening welt.
2.Unfold the ribbon and loosen the welt of the outer cover
3.Solve the second ribbon bow of the outer cover and loosen the other welt
4.Pull the silicone cotter out of the insert
5.Insert the funnel into the hole.
6.Sprinkle buckwheat.
7.Insert the plug back.
8.Pull off and tie the two ribbons of the outer cover on the bow thus tightening the welts (it’s a good idea to carry out this activity using your thumb and forefinger).
9.Push the ribbon into place, through the hole under the welt.

The object is suitable for use on slippery or soft ground. Nails, jewellery or other sharp objects protruding from the floor can damage the knitwear.
